PACE dues are $14.00 per pay period.

First, there are four recognized unions in the city so you have to find out which one you are eligible to join.
These following types of employees CAN'T join PACE - sorry:
- Police Officers - you are only eligible to join the recognized Police Union, IBPO. Call this number for more information: 404-521-9043.

- Firefighters - you are only eligible to join the recognized Firefighters Union, IAFF.

General Employees who are in a job classification assigned to the AFSCME union are encouraged to join that class group through AFSCME, (to see a list of AFSCME classifications, click here). However, if you still choose to join PACE you may do so by using the Option 2 enrollment plan shown below.
Everyone else CAN join PACE in one of two ways:
- OPTION 1 - Dues deducted from your City paycheck: If your job classification is on this list you can join PACE and have your dues automatically deducted from your City paycheck.

Just click here to print the payroll dues deduction enrollment form, fill it out, and give it to any PACE officer, or mail it to PACE (click here to see a list of PACE officers and the PACE mailing address).
- OPTION 2 - Dues deducted from a City Credit Union account set up by PACE: ANY CITY EMPLOYEE, not excluded above, can join PACE by paying your dues through the Atlanta City Employee's Credit Union (we encourage you take advantage of the full services offered by the Credit Union - click here to visit the Credit Union web site).
a. If you're not already a member of the Credit Union, you'll need to open either a checking or savings account. No starting balance is needed if you are opening the account to pay PACE dues. There are no recurring maintenance charges. Forms for opening an account can be obtained at any Credit Union office, or by emailing a request to mail@paceatlanta.org . Once you fill out the application, you can fax it to the Credit Union (404-658-6369) or drop it off at one of the three Credit Union branches listed below. Please write "PACE ATLANTA" on the top of your application.

b. Once you have a Credit Union account (checking or savings), all you need to do is authorize a $14.00 per pay period deduction to be put in the PACE Credit Union account. You do this by using the Credit Union Payroll Deduction Form number 23 "Payroll/Pension Deductions". Enter "PACE acct. no. 23517" in the "Other Accounts (family, etc.)" section. The form can be obtained at any Credit Union office, or by emailing a request to mail@paceatlanta.org. Once you fill out the form, you can fax it to the Credit Union (404-658-6369) or drop it off at one of the three Credit Union branches listed below.
